Re: Can't run program in Visat

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: C:\Program Files (x86)\JavaFX\Test/java Program Files (x86) is a system folder. You should not use it to store your personal projects or data in any Windows version, but Vista has specific features to protect system files that should definitively discourage you. More ...

Great tip. The downloadable docs in *.chm format do not include the user notes, which often add great value.

I suppose you are referring to http://www.textpad.com/add-ons/files/syntax/httpdconf1.zip . Yes, there's a typo in the comment, but it does indeed contain Apache directives (although the list of keywords is very incomplete). As about no loading automatically, if it isn't a bug I haven't been able to ...

When set, clicking anywhere after the last char on the like moves the caret to the last position. When not set, it leaves the caret wherever you clicked and when you start typing it inserts tabs to fill the gap.

Are localized versions definitively abandoned? The Spanish translation for TextPad 4 was pretty outstanding. But I guess there's no real market...

I believe there's a typo. Where it says:

Regular expression to match output: ^\([0-9]+\)

it should say:

Regular expression to match output: ^([0-9]+)

International language editions

More than four months later TextPad 5 is still only available in English. Are there plans to actually translate it?

I do hate close buttons on tabs. They absolutely slow down my work since every time I switch tabs with the mouse I need to carefully place the pointer outside the button or I'll accidentally close the document. Programs with multi-document interface has always had a per-document close button bellow ...

You're right, it seems the key is that the expression must match the beginning of the line (a sort of implicit ^). Your regex works fine. Actually, even the second of my examples works fine today. Damn computer goblins.

Regex to match PHP output

I've created a tool to launch PHP scripts (command line interface). Now I'm trying to add a regex (POSIX syntax) so I can double click on errors and jump to the offending line. Errors look like this: Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in C:\tmp\borrame.php on line 31 Warning: Wrong ...

Just for the records: downgrading to 4.7.1 fixed the problem for me. You have to uninstall the latest version first, but configuration is not lost.
