I am about to upgrade from version 7 to version 8. What do I need to do to ensure that all my settings including clip library items, macros, tollbar macros, document classes and syntax definitions which I use, are transferred to version 8?

Version 7 to Version 8 transition

I am currently using version 7 and have many clip library items, macros, tollbar macros, document classes and syntax definitions which I use.

If I upgrade to version 8 will I loose these or will they be transferred to the new version?

Ben, I cannot answer you points becuase I do not know the answers. I have previously been able to highlight a block of text, with "Regular expression" chosen, and replace it in all open documents with another block of text chosen. For some reason, I cannot now do this.
