Macro Unweb

Hi,

I use Textpad (among many other things) for editing websites in both French and English. This means I'm perpetually using accented letters. I can insert accented letters into text without a problem, and can use the excellent little macro HTML Encoder to convert accented characters to their HTML equivalents ie:-
é = é also without any trouble. However when spell checking FROM a web page, it would be very convenient to be able to convert HTML encoded entities to their ANSI equivalent.

When I saw there was a macro "unweb" whose description says:-
"A simple little macro called "unweb" that just substitutes the ascii characters for the html codes for those characters in selected text."

Well, I can't persuade it to do anything, neither with ASCII nor ANSI coded text. Has anyone succeeded, and how did they manage it.

I guess this is the time to bump my request - 2-3 years without a single reply is quite a long time.

Also.

Does anyone know if there is an HTML encoder which will correctly encode characters like €, ½«»¼ ° and so on?

Actually it would be quite nice to be able to convert them back from the HTML entities to ANSI characters.
