can anybody tell me what the expression is using textpads "Run Java Application" tool"?
The reason I ask is when you run a java program using textpad, after the program has finished and control passed back to the console window, it displays the "press any key to continue" msg and indeed a swipe on any key gets rid of the window.
Specifically can anyone (hopefully one of the developers) tell me how textpad does this?
thanks.
EDIT: Scratch that. I figured it out: batch pause command.
run java command line expression?

capture output
there is an option for textpad to run java and capture the output.
It is under configure/preferences/tools
Java compiler or many tools that textpad can run can be configured for Text Pad to deal with the dos box for you. It is not always 100% effective, but that is the answer to your question as phrased.
