Set Word Wrap To 65 Characters
I want to set the word wrap to 65 characters for all my documents (am submitting articles in .txt to web sites). I've spent several hours trying to figure out how to do this simple thing. When I save the document and open it up again, the word wrap is lost. I've searched every single thing possible (all the help, forums, FAQ, etc.) and cannot find any way to get the word wrap to stay set.

Select "Configure->Preferences" from the menu, then click on "Document Classes->Text" and check "Word wrap long lines". Then it should be default for text files. At the same place you should also have the option "Word break at column number" where you can specify 65.
This works for TextPad 5.1 and i'm pretty sure 4.7 have the same option, but cannot remember since it's some time since i used 4.7.
