Backup Feature triggers Thunderbird Message send

I've set backup timer to 1 minute. Now when editing a longer message in thunderbird, the mail client prompts me to send the mail every time i see textpad autosaving. luckily it had some characters that made my interaction nescessary. otherwise it would have been quite painfull to have this mail set the way it was.

i guess this is a bug
