Whenever I do a cut and paste into textpad, the font size is 6. I have to select all and change the font size to 10. Why is this happening? What can I do to fix it.

Close all open documents in TP. Goto Configure->Preferences->Document Classes->Default->Font. Select size 10, click Apply and OK.

I tried what you said and it didn't work. I am trying to copy text from a store procedure builder to textpad. When I highlight all the text I want to copy and press control C, then go to textpad and press control V, the font size is 6.

The document you are pasting into in TP must belong to a Document Class, the filename ending will tell you. Change the font size for that class, after closing all open documents. HTH

When I go into textpad the document name is document1. By just looking at the cursor size I can tell it is 6 point. I closed all documents and went into the preferences and the font size for the default is 10. I rehighlighted the 10, clicked on apply, then ok. I then opened a new document called document2. I still get 6 point font. Am I doing something wrong? Could there be a corrupt config file somewhere?

Do you have any document class that contains files that match the pattern *.

If so, what is the font size setting for that class?

The default class has the pattern *.* and the text class has the pattern *.

Both have the font size as 10.
