I just got myself a nice little USB Flash drive to carry various files around so that I can access/work on them from the computer labs on campus.
Is it possible to install TextPad (specifically including macros, preferences, etc.) to the FlashDrive so I can access it from any computer without having to install or configure anything there?
I have tried copying my entire Textpad installation folder to the flash drive and tried it on my other computer. The program will run, however none of the preferences or macros seem to be there (haven't checked the clip libraries), even though all of my macros and other add-ins are installed to the Textpad/Samples directory.
Thanks. Since my CS professor introduced me to this nice little text editor last year, it's all I've been using for my coding.

The preferences are stored in the Windows registry, as is the licensing information.Angryguy wrote:The program will run, however none of the preferences or macros seem to be there (haven't checked the clip libraries), even though all of my macros and other add-ins are installed to the Textpad/Samples directory.
