2) Question/ suggestion: Is it possible to have the statistics from doing a test replace (F4) put into the log? If not, then could I suggest this as an enhancement?
Currently the test pane just flashes and everything has been changed, which is great, but you have to remember what the file looked like before: you need look through it all to see if it's done what you wanted, or indeed anything at all. It would be nice if the log said something like:

File: blah.txt
4 replacements made.
---------------------
