why can I not see the compile function under tools?

http://textpad.com/support/faq/java.html might help, and of course the post next to this one, with the topic JAVA, http://textpad.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5352 :
you can goto Configure->Preferences->Tools->Click Add and select "Java SDK Commands". Your Java SDK must already be installed.

I've compiled a few java programs, but I can't run them. New w/Java and just installed TextPad5 out of my class book. Running XP. Pressing Tools/Run comes on a box for me to fill out w/Command-Parameters-Initial Folder............? stuck and need help badly..........thanks

What does invalid flag means after you complile and it gives you this message as an error
