Is it possible to highlight the current document tab? As it is, the active tab is not very distinguishable from the others.
Or is this a wish list item?

I'll second that, also highlight the tabs for modified documents and loose the star.
As it is I never use them, if they gave me some more information and
more clickable functions then that might change.

What about using just the document selector? Better than the tabs IMHO.
