Tools are grayed out when an error occurs when using a tool.

When I run a program using a tool (which works most of the time), if an error occurs the tools are grayed out. I try STOP, but it doesn't reset the tools. I have to exit the TextPad completely before I can use the tools again. How can I reset them while still in TextPad?

this program re-enables grayed out buttons/checkboxes/menus.

Use it to access the tools via the tools menu; I don't know if icons on the toolbar can be re-enabled.
