Syntax error warning

When I load a HTML file into TextPad I get a warning that says - "Invalid data in line 9 of D:\ProgramFiles\TextPad\System\HTML.SYN"

the file HTML.SYN is load into TextPad along with the file I requested. Line 9 of the HTML.SYN file is:

KeyWordLength =

I have never opened this or any other .syn file and I don't know what possible error could be in line 9.

The problem occured after installing the most recent version of TP (4.1.05). I also noticed that the definition for CommentStart was "!--" and not "<!--".

This makes me suspect of the entire HTML.SYN file. Is there a way to get a good copy of this file?

HTML.SYN is installed by the TextPad installer. Try downloading and installing version 4.7.2 from the download page.
