I just installed 4.7.2 on our Terminal Services server running Citirx MetraFrame XP. When I connect to the server, my local drive (C:) is mapped to the remote session so I can access files on my C: drive (it appears as C$ in Explorer). If I try to open any small .TXT file on my C: drive, TextPad starts to open the file but then locks up. I can hear my C: drive spinning until I finally have to end TP through Task Manager.
Hopefully this problem can be addressed in a future version of TP, however, does anyone know of any TP configuration options I could possibly change to workaround this locking up problem? Also, I am able to open a .TXT file located on the Terminal Services server (M: drive) without TP locking up -- it's just the textfiles on the mapped client drives that cause this problem.
Thanks in advance,
Ben

If you're running an active virus checker on your client PC, try temporarily disabling it, and then open a file on your C drive.
You could also try setting "When files are modified by an external process" to "Ignore", on Configure/Preferences/File.
