I am using 4.7.0 and have all three checkboxes checked under Visible white space, and it doesn't want to work for me any longer. I just found that topic on this forum moments ago along with a suggested fix (close all docs, then reset it). I tried that but it still doesn't work.
Any tips?

Try upgrading to version 4.7.1 of TextPad, and see if that fixes the problem.

I just upgraded using following file:
txpeng471.exe 1,945,473 .a.. 10-17-03 11:11:08 am
I installed it using the wizard, relaunched, but still no fix. Checked, using Help, About Textpad -- and it said 4.7.0 (just like the install isn't working)
Completely rebooted system and tried again. Still no fix.
Installed again, selecting the Repair option. No, again. Still reporting 4.7.0 from the Help About. Still no visible spaces, etc.
FWIW, I am using Win2k Pro on Athlon 900mhz with 1.25 gb RAM. No network.

Keith,
I remember changing some colors in Document Classes, AutoLISP. Not knowing how to satisfy your suggestion I just set them to Default. Then I went to Document Classes, Default. Set colors there to Default. Tried again but no success.
I've also played with turning off transparent dialog boxes with no luck.
FWIW I have Nvidia display card with 64 mb ram and the latest driver (one week ago). But I suppose my settings on it may play a role?
