varible length list of numbers to insert spaces before

I have a list of numbers (3000 records) below which i need to convert by adding a number of spaces before the fisrt character so the list is 10 characters in length after the find and replace:

23.00
-345.45
9.00
12344.67

for example : the number 23.00, is 5 characters and I need to insert before the 23.00 5 spaces, if it is 4 characters, e.g. 9.00 i need to insert 6 spaces, if 7 characters, -345.45 then 3 and so on...

Try this:

1. Right click the document and choose Properties.
2. Click the Preferences tab.
3. Check "Word break at column number".
4. Set the column number to 10.
5. Click OK.
6. Select all the lines.
7. From the Edit menu, choose Align/Right.

You'll probably want to uncheck "Word break at column number", when you've finished.
