Block-Selection-Mode Enhancment

Hello!

It would be great to change the behaviour in the block-selection-mode e-macs-like.
It should be possible to type something and it is written in every line
For example selection of a coloumn of 1 char width and 6 chars height and then typing "hello" should result in:

hello
hello
hello
hello
hello
hello

You know about the Edit - Fill Block feature?

It is available as soon as a block is selected...
