How important is it to you to have this feature implemented into future versions of TextPad?

Dockable Command Results and Search Results

The ability to dock these special windows to the top, bottom, or side of the screen would be handier than a trumpet full of pencils.

And if you could move them so they didn't have to be docked with
the main window that would be even better (a trombone's worth
of pencils?).

Not sure if this is that same as what Nial is suggesting .. but in addition to being able to dock such windows, I would like the option to set them as "Always On Top" when not docked and not maximised, please.

I would like to see the window dockable. As for moving it out of the MDI(multiple document interface), the biggest benefit would be that you could move the search and command results off to the side or a 2nd monitor.

Not just Command Results and Search Results, but I'd like to be able to dock any editor window.
