Visible White Space

Post by nealbscott »

Is it me, or is it difficult to enable 'visible white space' by default. I turn it on all the time and would like it to stay that way!

Close all documents in textPad.

Then select Configure, Preferences, View.
Put check marks in Visible White Space boxes.
Click OK.

Close TextPad and reopen it.

Should be all set.

Hope this helps, good luck.

WOW! An answer inside 4 minutes!!

Anyway, closing all documents was the key I needed. I already had the checkmarks in configure, prefernces, view But I noticed the toolbar icon wasn't 'depressed' after I closed all files. So I clicked icon on the toolbar for visible white space *AFTER* having closed all files. Then things started working like I wanted, Thanks!

I just happened to be passing by.

I actually saw this solution contirubuted by someone else a few months back, but it solved the problem for me and I happened to remember the solution. (Thanks again to whoever that was).

Glad I could help.
Hope this was helpful.............good luck,
