java.syn not working past line 40

I have version 4.5.0 of TextPad. When I had it installed on my previous hard drive (before it crashed), all was well with the world and I loved the way TextPad worked. I was using WinNT on that hard drive. Since then, the IT department (in their ever-frustrating wisdom), decided to give me a new hard drive with Windows 2000 on it instead of WinNT. After reinstalling TextPad 4.5.0 onto Win2000, everytime I use the java.syn file to highlight my Java code, it works fine until I get to about line 40 in the workspace. Then all text, comments, code and anything else, turns to a funky pale green color. No amount of text formating or syntax changing will make it change.

Is this happening to anyone else?

Did you try the latest version of Textpad (4.6.2)?
