name template for default doc names on save: like 'MyDoc', where a number is appended to this name to automatically gen new doc names on save: MyDoc1.txt, MyDoc2.txt, etc. optionally with selectable-length zero-padding: MyDoc0001.txt, MyDoc0002.txt, etc. i use TP as my general purpose scratch editor and create about 10 new ones a day on the fly. i dont save for days at a time.. then i have to deal with typing "misc0123", "misc0124", "misc0125" for about 10 minutes when im trying to reboot or shutdown.. 
and then i begin to feel anger at textpad! 
please save my instance from suffering my resentment and wrath! hex editing.. c'mon! option to automatically pop selected text into the search text box on new search. i dont mind writing add-ons to do these things.. wheres the sdk?

transparant dialog boxes (im on w2kpro sp5) does some wierrd things..
