HI EVERYBODY,
I USED TO HAVE TEXTPAD WORKING PERFECTLY ON WINDOWS NT 4.0. i NOW HAVE MY PC WORKING ON WINDOWS 2000 AND THE TEXPAD IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. iT WILL COMPILE BUT IT WONT RUN THE APPLICATION. I GET THE ERROR BELOW. I'VE DEINSTALLED AND REINSTALLED. ALSO THE PROGRAM WHEN YOU VIEW IT IS IN MONOCHROME INSTEAD OF COLOUR. I CAN CHANGE THE SYNTAX HIGHLIGHTING TO GET RID OF THIS BUT THE CHANGES DON'T STAY SAVED.

You have to set your path variable, and be sure to put the doc inside the jdk folder,
Your problem is it is not seeing the java.lang package you dont have it in the correct path

I have TextPad running under Windows 2000. I've never had any trouble with it.

Where do I find the Java.lang package? And Do I put it my the variable for text pad or for Windows 2000
