Hi,
I am working with a large text file in the Arial Unicode Ms font.
It opens fine with wordpad or MS Word, but will not show the font in Textpad 4.62, although I have set it to the right font in the Preferences.
What can I do?

What do you mean by 'it will not show the font'?
How did you set the preferences? Things such as font can be different for different file extensions, i.e. if the file has a .txt extension you need to change the preferences under Tools -> Preferences -> Document classes -> Text (on the right you'll see a list of wildcards that these preferences apply to.
