In my Textpad program I cant get the Javacode i colour, but on my mothers computer is possible and we have the same versions of the program. I have checked the Preferences and everything is exactly alike on the two computers.
I have Windows 2000 and my mother has Windows XP. Could that make the difference?

Re: Text not in colour
I have found that I sometimes need to close and re-open a document, for it to represent the new colour changes.
Be sure to assign the colour changes to the document class, rather than to just the current document.. in other words: via [Configure] --> [Preferences], rather than right-click and [Properties].
Re-opening the document ensures that you inherit the document-class properties and lose any document-specific settings that might get in the way.
