Adding Special Characters?

Post by Jough »

Hi,

When using the HTML.syn syntax file for html files, I notice that some of the special characters are recognized and respond to syntax highlighting while others, like mdash and ndash, do not. It's weird, because "aelig" is highlighted but "Aelig" isn't (nor are several of the capital letter characters.

Just putting an "&" at the beginning and ";" at the end doesn't seem to signify it's a true special character.

How can I add more special characters to the list so that they are coloured when the syntax highlighting is on? There aren't *that* many HTML high ascii special characters, so I'll want to add them *all*.

Thanks,
