word-wrap on printable characters

I am editing a large X12 document that has terminators that identify the end of a record. We have standardized on the segment terminator being the tilda ~ symbol.

I and my team would be most appreciative if someone could inform me how to setup TP 4.5.0 to interpret this as a line feed so that when the tilda is encountered, the data would wrap to the next line.

I've searched through the current posts and have not seen where this has been easily answered. It would seem that this would be a simple change through setting up a keyword appropriately in the syntax file.
