Convince Textpad to open two files in the same instance

When I doubleclick on a file associated with TextPad I get a new instance of TextPad. How can I make TextPad open the new file in the same instance as whatever other files it already has open?

Menu: Configure, Preferences


Uncheck Allow multiple instances to run
