Seems like it should be easy but I cannot find a way to invoke a macro by assigning ctrl + 'X' like you can do with tools.
Any ideas?

It must be because CTRL+X is allready assigned a function.
CTRL+X means Cut.
(CTRL+C = Copy, CTRL+V=Paste)
