After installing TextPad 4.5.0 as Administrator in Windows XP Pro, I can access everything from accounts which are part of the Administrators group but from a Power User account I cannot cut, copy or paste text.
Tried re-installing, removing, re-installing 4.4.2 but the problem persists. Never had this problem with Windows 2000 Pro on my other 2 machines.

Look at the TextPad icon you use to fire it up. If the command line has "-r", then remove it.
When you edit a file is the Configure > Read-Only checked?
Does TexPad display the Read indicator in the lower-righthand status bar?

I don't fire TextPad from the Command prompt but if you mean the Shortcut Properties then, no, there isn't a -r switch.
