The context menu option was working for files and started textpad but now no longer works in Windows NT Workstation. The first symptom was that the menu option disappeared. I downloaded the latest 4.5 version and uninstelled and then reinstalled. Now the menu option is back but nothing happens when it is selected.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I've noticed some lockups and erratic behavior when using that context menu expression myself, due to how quirky shell integration can be.
Here's a possible workaround for you. I always put a shortcut to Textpad in the SendTo folder under my profile; this gives me the same functionality, but runs much faster. The one difference is you have to slip off the main context menu, but it works fine.
