Has anyone figured out how to set TextPad as the default text editor within IE 5.0 or above. I understand there is a registry entry (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\View Source Editor\Editor Name) but this still does not work properly. TextPad tries to create a new files due to the spaces in the path. Also, adding parameters to the default value also doesn't seem to work properly.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Default Editor in IE
Hi Shane.
Although View>Source doesn't work with TextPad in IE5+, you will find that (if in internet options > programs, your "HTML Editor" is set to TextPad), by Alt+F,D (File>Edit) becomes File>Edit with Textpad and functions well.
And it does work without any problem for files with spaces.
Hope this will help.
