Macro Editing

I'm pretty sure of the answer, but hope one of you gurus can prove me wrong.

I have been unable to find any way to edit the actions in existing macros. Is there a way to do this? Or do you just have to start from scratch recording a new macro? I realize that is is possible edit the properties (Configure - Preferences - Macros) but I want to be able to add/change actions in the macro itself.

Oops! Never mind. Just found the answer in the archive.

I looked at the Hex Editor mentioned in the earlier thread but it was far from obvious what was actually going on in the macro. Any thoughts or suggestions?
