run java ms dos auto close

when i run a java program in ms dos window, it will not auto close even if auto clsoe button is set in configure menu.

What happens is that an msdos batch file is generated and shown in the msdos tilte bar: e.g. "tp00a039". I get a message in MSDOS window saying: press any key to continue. When I do this is I get a message saying "finished-tp00a039" and I have to manaully close msdos window with close button. Any ideas?

i am running windoze 98.
