File Open dialog "sticky"

The top-left corner of the File open/... dialog always reverts back to the same place on my screen, regardless of how large the box is - which is rather annoying when the box then extends past the end of the screen.

Also, while the size is retained during a session, it is not retained between program runs.

Any ideas?
