Problem with downloaded Textpad .exe file

Hi,

I am not sure this is the right place to post this question, but I hope somebody can help me.

I have 2 computers, one which has access to the Internet and a laptop.

Right now I am working on my laptop, so I downloaded Textpad from my normal computer, where I have Internet access.

So I copied the downloaded TextPad .exe file to install it in my laptop, where I actually need to work with TextPad, but the .exe file doesn't work. I have tried saving it in 3 different storage media (normal CD, diskettes, zip unit), and no luck.

Would anyone know why this happens and how to solve this?
