There are enhancements I'd welcome in my favorite text editor, but one bug that really should be fixed. I haven't seen it mentioned here and I'm wondering whether others think it's as important as I do. This is a description of it:
When you UNDO an operation TextPad restores the text as it was before the operation was performed, however it fails to restore the selection that was in effect. This is unfortunate. Every other good editor I've used performs this way; even NotePad does this!
Example: After carefully selecting some text, I choose Edit/ChangeCase/Capitalize. I realize from seeing the change that I meant to do SentenceCase instead. I choose Edit/Undo. TextPad reverts the text but then "forgets" the text selection(!). I then have to remake my careful selection.
It seems like a small thing, but I find it quite jarring occasionally. Anyone else experience this?

It's definitely annoying altho' not bothersome enough (for me) to really get upset over ... but I'd certainly be happy to see that changed as you suggest.
