Changing Shortcuts?

Post by Pat L »

Are Textpad shortcut key customizable? If so, how?

What I want to do is something like using 'Crtl-F' for instead of 'F5' for searching for text in a file.

Configure/Preferences, then Keyboard, select the function you want to assign from the listbox(es), then assign the key

Or better:
go to Configure > Preferences > Editor > Keystroke compatibility
Choose "Microsoft Applications"

Good luck,

Yes, Roy, this is another possibility, but whether it is better... ?
(Sorry, Roy, I just wanted to test something with this forum and needed an old thread where I could post something)

(No apology necessary. Frequently Tried Experiments. ;-)
