Null Characters - help!!

I need to strip out null characters from an ASCII fixed width fill and preserve the spacing. Can anyone tell me how to do that? Thanks for any help!!

In Replace box
Find what
\x00
Replace with
nothing or one space (whatever fits your needs)
Check Regular expressions
