Change the default encoding to UTF-8

How can/do I do that, because I need the special characters?

  1. menu: Configure > Preferences
  2. tree on the left: Document Classes > (every one you want, in doubt repeat for all)
  3. settings list on the right: Default encoding: UTF-8
In TextPad almost every document related setting is found in its separate class.
