Hi,
I had to perform an in-place upgrade of my Windows 11 Pro to 24H2, Build 26100.4652.
Since this update was installed, TextPad 9.8.2 does not find any built-in dictionary any more. The app shows the error message, "The dictionary cannot be found".
Can this be fixed without re-installing the editor? If so, please provide instructions. If it is not possible, then I will consider installing v9.9.
I have attached a screenshot of the error message:
Thank you!

Try clicking the Add button on Configure » Preferences » Spelling. If you don't see your language, add it, then select it back in TextPad after closing and reopening Spelling preferences.

Many thanks for your prompt reply.
I followed your instructions and found that the UK language was already installed.
I removed it and re-installed it.
This fixed my problem.
