Color settings not showing

I went through and set color changes, and did it the the "Default" class. But when I restart TextPad, or start a new document, the colors are still showing in default settings.

Do I need to set each class separately to make them "apply" if I want them as "default"? Isn't there a way to even copy from one class to the rest?

The Default document class is used by any documents with file extensions that are not matched by any of the other document classes. If you want to propagate its settings to all document classes, set that option before clicking OK.
