WildEdit 2.4(64 bit) licensed software on Windows 11 Pro 23H2
Whenever rebooting my laptop (or Windows update running requiring reboot) I have to manually re-check many Dirs/SubDirs on a very large local hard drive. Any way to preserve the previous GUI Folder selection in a fresh, subsequent WildEdit session to preculde need for this labourious, regular re-selection of Folders in GUI ?
Any suggestions/hacks gratefully received
Remember checked search folders between WildEdit sessions ?

A shot in the blue: are you ending WildEdit before shutting down Windows, or do you just leave it running and Windows should take care of it? If the latter, try the former.

Most kind
From memory, when Win 11 forces an update/restart and restarts any apps that were open, it doesn't preserve the checks in WildEdit folders from before the restart. But I suspect there might be some WildEdit .ini file somewhere (or command-line hack even), where (multiple) folder selections/checks could be "preserved" between Windows sessions ?
