User Macro

Post by VSLEWIS »

Sorry, but I could find anything for this issue, thus I am asking for help.
How do you change the "User Macro XX" ?
I can see from the menu-MACRO what macro is assigned.
I want to re-assign a different macro to "User Macro 1" (or any other one), but I cn't figure out how.

I always used keyboard-shortcuts, but now Microsoft-TEAMS has hijacked most "Ctrl" + "Alt" keys.
Also, working from home on a laptop, but the main screen is a TV with remote connection to my workstation. Hence when I am working on the remote workstation, most keybord-shorcuts don't work.

Do you want to reassign a macro to an existing menu item? Or do you want to change its keyboard shortcut?

In the latter case:
  1. Configure > Preferences > Keyboard > Categories: Macros > Commands: [your macro]
  2. Current keys: [select currently assigned shortcut] > Remove
  3. Press new shortcut key: [what you want to assign instead] > Assign
  4. OK
Steps 2 through 4 are the same for any keyboard shortcut, not just macros.

  1. Configure > Preferences > Macros
  2. Macros on menu > (select the one you want to reassign)
  3. click button "<< Remove"
  4. Macros available > (select the one you want as replacement)
  5. click button "Add >>"
  6. use buttons "Move Up" and "Move Down" to move it to the position of choice
