Can't turn off document tabs - v9.1

I turn off document tabs from View -> Document tabs. Everything is ok in that session, but when I restart textpad, the document tabs are there again. Is there a way to get rid of them permanently?

Using version 9.1.0

On Configure/Preferences/View, check "At top of frame", then turn off document tabs.

Looks like that did the trick. Would have never tested that myself though

You shouldn't have to do that, and this bug will be fixed in the next release.
