Change Font on the Fly

I like Textpad's zoom in/out buttons on the toolbar.
Is there a way to quickly change fonts?
I am constantly switching between proportional and non-proportional versions of the same font family.

The quickest way I can think of is:

1. Press Alt+Enter to open the Document Properties dialog
2. Select the Font tab
3. Type the first few letters of the font you want to switch to until it is at the top of the Font list
4. Press Down and Enter

If you don't switch to a different tab, you can skip Step 2 the next time you do this.
