When I re-boot some of my Windows 10 machines, Textpad tries to restart where (it thinks) I was the last time I was using it. I believe it even happens when Textpad wasn't even open when I began the re-boot.
It doesn't work RIGHT for me, and even if it did, I'd rather that it didn't do it.
Can I turn "warm start" off?
Many people looked at this post. Has no one else had the problem? Or just not been able to solve it? Wrong term? (I used "warm start", because I see this in the app's features...
"Warm Start feature lets you restart exactly where you left off. ..."

(Feature mentioned in a review, not on textpad.com, Dec 2014)
One machine where it happens is on Windows 10, Textpad ver 8.0.0, 64-bit. Has been happening for a time.

Nah, rather many search engine crawlers looked at this post, but barely humans.FanSince2001 wrote:Many people looked at this post.

I hate this feature in general, not just on specific programs supporting it. In case you want to disable it entirely see https://superuser.com/a/1296139
