'Find in Files' not working

When I click 'Find' in the 'Find in Files' dialog, nothing happens. The behavior I've seen for years is that the Search Results window opens with any results.

I suspect there is a window I can't see that contains the results, but I don't recall changing any settings in this regard.

This has worked fine for years. Could this be related to a recent windows (7) update? I tried upgrading to 8.0.2 but see the same problem.

Under Configure -> Preferences -> View -> Dockable log windows:

is "Search Result" checked or not?

Does it help if you change this setting and do a new search?

MudGuard, you are a genius: clearing the 'Search Result' option gave me back the old behavior. I'm not sure what the setting does (help doesn't mention it that I can see), but I'm back in business. Thank you!
