Windows 10 Issues

Updated to Windows 10 from 7 a couple of weeks back and continue having two issues.

FYI I'm using 7.51 64 bit.

1) For the life of me, I can't get Textpad to stay registered. Sometimes it will last for a day, sometimes a week, but eventually I'll open it up and get the evaluation version nag screen and my reg info is gone.

2) When it is registered, I continually get a notice when launching stating "Access is denied" message that references the TextPadKey.xml file.

I've tried installing Textpad using admin and not using admin.

As for the key, I have entered it while running under administrator and not as well.

If I run as a user, the registration info only lasts for a couple of launches. If I enter it while running as administrator, it gets saved to the registry properly, but still eventually gets "lost" for lack of a better term and the program reverts to evaluation mode.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated as this is getting quite frustrating.
