High resolution display bug

Post by PatBerg »

I have a high resolution (3200 x 1900) 15" display, using Windows 8.1. In order to display text properly, fonts are set to 200% in the Windows display settings.

TextPad follows the font size change, and if I set icons to "large size", they are also displayed ok. However, the Incremental Find edit box appears not to be rescaled with the font size: text is cut off, and I can only see the top of the text.

This bug needs to be fixed. Perhaps it would also be useful to scale icons by the Windows font size scaling.

I second that opinion. This is a bug, and not a feature request. With more and more high resolution displays appearing all the time, this issue will become nasty for a lot of people. As it is now, incremental find is useless.

Not a fix, but better than nothing:
