I'm compiling the URL links stored in Firefox history backups I've performed over the years in both
.json and
.html languages and need a major assist from Textpad which I hope won't be too ambitious.

The search should disregard any distinction between a secure site (http
s://) and a normal one (http://) — "
http" is the search criteria.

Because there are dozens of these
.json and
.html files — each containing thousands of URLs — I need first to obtain a count of the number of URLs that are
unique. It is these number counts that will guide me to divide the reports alphabetically by (some) comfortable range (eg. bookmarks_A-E.html, bookmarks_F-H).

To help Textpad deal with the sheer load of thousands of URLs, I'm hoping to be able to
exclude google.com from the start.
The trimmed-and-manageble reports will be generated as .html files, but I'm not certain whether Textpad would have an advantage of some sort searching the backups stored as
.json files (I don't even have a clue what a .json is other than people claim it has some advantage over html). If this is too ambitious, advise me please! Thanks guys . . .
